Down Time is a series that studies the characters in the streets of Hong Kong as they are all occupied, head down, in their phones. It is a social commentary on how technology has taken over our lives and is limiting our abilities to be the social creatures we were meant to be. The depth of field drowns out the hustle of the city while the monotone captures the drama of each personality- different worlds trapped, yet all expanding within that 6 inch back-lit glass.
